Bucharest office fit-out costs rise but remain competitive

Office fit-out costs in Bucharest have surged by 12% in 2024, surpassing €1,000 per sq. m. Rising labour costs, inflation-driven material prices, and increasing demand for ESG-compliant designs are key drivers. Despite this, Bucharest remains one of the most cost-competitive office markets in Central and Eastern Europe—17% cheaper than Warsaw and 14.5% below Prague.
