The Fit Out Awards UK 2026 Book of the Night is now available to read, offering a full record of the gala held on 24 September 2026 at the Park Plaza London Riverbank.

The publication documents an evening that recognised excellence in the UK fit out industry, from design practices and contractors to individual designers and project managers.

Senior executives, designers, and contractors attended the ceremony, where awards were presented across categories covering commercial fit out, hospitality, retail, healthcare, public sector, and tourism and leisure projects. The Book of the Night brings together winner profiles, messages from the awards team and the judging coordinator, and a complete account of the evening, showing not only who won but the standards that set their work apart.

The 2026 programme reflected the breadth of the sector. Recognition extended from office fit out, covering small, medium, and large projects, to interior design, workplace interiors, and international work, alongside awards for sustainability, collaboration, and product innovation. Together, the winners and finalists offer a picture of where design and build practice in the UK is focusing its effort.

The evening was supported by Gold Sponsors NOS Global and Amtico. Amárach Research took part as Supporter and The Sunday Times served as Communications Partner.

Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges drawn from academia, business, and related sectors, with expertise spanning architecture, interior design, construction, and workplace wellbeing. The Book of the Night explains the judging process, giving context on how each entry was assessed.

For those who attended, it is a chance to revisit the night and the achievements recognised. For those who were not in the room, it serves as a reference for what the UK's fit out community achieved in 2026, and a useful benchmark for fit out contractors, designers, and project teams considering entry in future years.
