Leighton Asia has been awarded a contract by NTT Global Data Centers to deliver fit-out works at its Bangkok data centre campus in Thailand, further strengthening the contractor's portfolio in the Asia Pacific digital infrastructure sector.

According to HOCHTIEF, the project involves fit-out and mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation for data halls, supporting infrastructure and associated systems, forming part of NTT's continued investment in digital infrastructure across the Thai market.

The award adds to Leighton Asia's growing presence in the data centre fit-out sector across the Asia Pacific region, where demand for mission-critical facilities continues to accelerate alongside rapid expansion in cloud computing, artificial intelligence and digital services infrastructure.
