Texfel / Edit Office has been announced as Gold Sponsor of the Fit Out Awards 2026, bringing a heritage of specialist acoustic and decorative manufacturing to Ireland's premier recognition programme for excellence across the fit out sector.

TEXFEL® is a brand of FYTISA, a family business now led by its fifth generation, manufacturing specialised decorative and acoustic PET felts since 1841 — a legacy that spans nearly two centuries of product development in service of architects, interior designers, and fit out professionals.

The TEXFEL® range of decorative felts and acoustic PET panels is designed with the specific needs of the design and build community in mind, offering high-quality surfaces, a wide range of colours, and acoustic performance features that meet the demands of modern working and living spaces.

In an interior fit out and workplace design landscape where acoustic comfort, material quality, and aesthetic flexibility are increasingly central to how commercial interiors are specified and experienced, Texfel's product range sits at the intersection of functionality and design. Such a combination aligns naturally with the values the Fit Out Awards exists to celebrate.

For architects and interior designers working across office fit out, workspace design, and workplace interiors, TEXFEL® offers a product that serves both the visual and acoustic ambitions of a space in equal measure.

Texfel / Edit Office joins an extensive cohort of Gold Sponsors for 2026, including SAS International, Solutions, DCON Safety Consultants, Etag Fixings, SIG Workplace, T&I Fitouts, W2W & Optima, Structure Tone, Lumen Search, DLight, BRITA Professional, Stacked, Pardgroup Ireland, Walls Construction, and MJF Interiors, among others, reflecting the breadth and depth of Ireland's fit out community. FKM Fit Out and The Interiors Group serve as Platinum Sponsors, with further support from Amárach Research and The Irish Times as Communications Partner.

The Fit Out Awards 2026 spans 32 categories covering the full spectrum of Ireland's fit out sector, from Fit Out Project of the Year across office, hospitality, healthcare, retail, residential, and industrial settings, to Fit Out Contractor of the Year, Excellence in Design Collaboration, Sustainable Fit Out Project of the Year, and Fit Out Product of the Year. Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel drawn from design, academia, and the built environment.

The awards ceremony will take place on 25 November 2026 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
