Industry NewsZizzi Suffolk Street expands and modernises restaurant fit-out in Dublin
Zizzi Suffolk Street has officially reopened in Dublin following an extensive refurbishment, increasing its capacity to 97 guests and introducing a modern-rustic interior that blends Tuscan heritage with Irish influences.
According to a Hospitality Ireland report, the restaurant’s redesign includes an open kitchen and pizza oven, allowing diners to observe the culinary team in action while enjoying the aromas of freshly baked pizza.
The outdoor terrace has also been upgraded with new furniture and cover to accommodate 18 guests for alfresco dining year-round.
The refurbishment features an original mural by local artist Fran Halpin, adding vibrancy to the walls, while the brand’s signature yellow tree remains a focal point, enhanced with hanging bells inspired by St Audoen’s Church and Trinity College.
“We’re really looking forward to starting off 2026 with a fresh new look,” said Elvis, Zizzi Suffolk Street’s general manager. “We hope locals and visitors to Dublin will love the new space, original artwork and cosy dining areas as much as we do.”
Alongside the fit-out, Zizzi has introduced a new pasta menu featuring Chitarra, Mafaldine, and Casareccia pasta, all prepared with free-range eggs and Wildfarmed flour. New dishes include Truffle Cacio E Pepe, Meatballs Alla Vodka, and Seafood Vongole.
“With our new look and usual Zizzi favourites on the menu there’s no excuse not to come in and visit and see what we’ve done with the place!” added Elvis.
The refurbishment enhances operational flow, elevates the dining experience, and strengthens Zizzi’s positioning in Dublin’s competitive casual dining sector.
