Barney Glennon, 2019 Outstanding Contribution Award recipient

On Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin, Barney Glennon (Founder, Glenn Wood) received the 2019 Outstanding Contribution award, sponsored by Sonica, in recognition of his contribution to the fit out sector in Ireland.

Barney has led Glenn Wood’s workforce through fit out projects in most of the Credit Unions across Ireland.

He has an unblemished reputation within the sector for his quality, bespoke joinery products and skilled team who consistently deliver to a high standard across each project.

Barney has also shown remarkable ability to guide management teams within the Credit Unions on issues such as Health & safety, crowd control and security.

Our 2019 Outstanding Contribution recipient still plays a leading role at Glenn Wood as Operations Director, leading the overall day to day operations in all aspects of the factory.

He has done wonders for the perception and reputation of Irish fit outs and was honoured for the role he has played in achieving this across the years.
